Originally from West Michigan, my husband and I moved to Chicago for a few years, until the decision to raise our kids here brought us back. I am now a happy mama of two kiddos.

I have always loved creating tidy spaces and would find myself organizing pantries, playrooms, and children’s closets after tucking kids in bed as a teen babysitter. This passion continued and evolved while working as a household manager in Chicago and Grand Rapids, where I organized (almost) every inch of their homes and designed systems that aligned with the everyday lives of each family.

Perhaps most formative, since getting married almost a decade ago, we’ve lived in seven different places—often small apartments. Because of this, I developed the art of “editing” my possessions to only things I truly love

When I’m not dreaming up ways to optimize a space, I love spending time outdoors with my family. My absolute favorite place is Lake Michigan—extra points for a book and iced coffee in hand.
